Michael's career journey began in the public sector, contributing to groundbreaking projects developing applications for scientific analysis and simulation. This included creating code that interfaced with real-life engineered components to simulate hardware interactions.
From there, Michael moved into the private sector, contributing to PayPoint’s online payment platform, developing APIs and backend systems that supported businesses with seamless transactions.
Since joining Talent, Michael has worked on various projects including the Department for Education, developing the Family Hubs directory system which enables social workers to find and refer services for families in need, This project has really showcased his skills and passion for developing user-centric and socially beneficial applications.
More recently, Michael has been pivotal in simplifying complex systems, such as streamlining payment calculations for apprenticeships - a task requiring both technical skill and innovative thinking to balance existing infrastructure with modernised solutions.
